What exactly is an eSIM?
An eSIM (embedded SIM) is a digital SIM card built directly into your device. Instead of inserting a physical SIM card, you activate a data plan by scanning a QR code or entering an activation code. DOIT eSIM profiles are delivered instantly and can be stored alongside your existing SIM.
How do I install my DOIT eSIM?
After completing your purchase, you will receive a QR code by email within seconds. On iPhone: go to Settings → Cellular → Add eSIM → Use QR Code. On Android: Settings → Connections → SIM Manager → Add eSIM. Scan the code and follow the on-screen prompts. You will be connected in under 5 minutes.
Can I keep using my home SIM alongside DOIT eSIM?
Yes. Most modern smartphones support Dual SIM (physical + eSIM). You can keep your home number active for calls and use your DOIT eSIM for data, avoiding roaming charges entirely. You switch between them with a simple toggle in Settings.
Is there a data speed limit?
We do not throttle speeds. You get full 4G LTE or 5G speeds (depending on your plan and local network) until you reach your data allowance. After that, some plans offer reduced-speed data so you stay connected throughout your trip.
What if I need more data mid-trip?
Top-ups are available directly from your DOIT account dashboard or through the app. You can add more data to an active plan without reinstalling your eSIM. Top-ups apply instantly to your current balance.
Can I use my eSIM in multiple countries?
Absolutely. Our Regional and Global plans cover multiple countries under a single eSIM profile. You do not need separate eSIMs for each country — the profile automatically connects to the best local network as you cross borders.
How do I know if my device is compatible?
